Note: If your power transformer has a center tap for the green heater wires and you replace it with a non center tapped power transformer, you will have to add two 1/2 watt 100 ohm resistors to the heater circuit to make an artificial center tap.

Note: To determine if you have Version A or Version B TBPT, use a multi meter set to continuity.
You will get a beep from the Orange wire to the Brown or Black wires on Version A.
You will get a beep from the Orange wire to the Brown/White or Black/White wires on Version B.

TBPT Version A primary hookup
Line = The AC connection. Blk=Black, Brn=Brown, Wht=White
120 vac Line - Twist together Brown and Brown/White
. Line - Twist together Black and Black/White
. . Do not use Orange. Heat shrink the tip.

. . Twist together Black and Brown/White
. . Do not use Orange. Heat shrink the tip

Note: The last batch of TBPT's that I received from Victoria amps has the orange wire moved to the other primary. I think the transformer guy just got the two primaries mixed up but it will not matter since both primaries are equal. I made a new diagram above and instructions below for wiring this Version B model as I am calling it. Nothing is different except that the orange wire has been moved.
