Hello everyone. I'm Tim, 52, wife with two kids mine, two kids hers, ages:25,19,18,16. Oldest works for the gov't, they are paying for her college now, 19 is a sophomore at College of Chas, 18 starting Lander this year, and 16 is a Junior in HS. I work for the Federal Gov't in IT.
Been playing guitar off and on now for about 35yrs. Always owned and played tube amps (Plush, Peavey, Fender, Mesa, Marshall, Germino, Tophat, Bogner, Reinhardt, and currently own an Aiken Intruder and a Cornell Plexi). I tend to lean more to the Marshall tone, but more on the Dark side which is one reason I joined this forum. So I am looking for a nice JTM45 or Plexi clone that I can learn to modify to get the darker tone that I like. I really don't want to modify the Aiken or Cornell, which is why I am looking for another. Anyway, hope to learn a bit so I can begin to make my own changes to taste....
