It is a pleasure to be accepted into this forum. I am 58 years old and have 2 daughters and 4 grandsons. I grew up with tube amps and didn't even have an idea that I would miss them as much as I do. My first amp was a 3 tube rodeo that my Mom bought for me at the BX. When I would play it, it would get all distorted and I didn't like that so I cut lawns and bought a Silvertone twin twelve amp (Damn I loved that amp). I was into ham radio back in the 60's but I have forgot so much about tubes that it is wonderful to have a site like this to help me remember. I plan on making my own amp out of parts I already have and many I need to buy. I think I will be asking and looking for answers to many questions in the future.

Nice to have you on board ......... Got 2 yrs on you & I have 4 kids and 8 grandkids with another on the way. This is a fun and rewarding hobby. Hope you'll enjoy the forum. You'll get alot of help here.
