Hi, here's a painting I finally finished a couple of days ago. It's been on the back burner for awhile, so the last few weekends have been pretty much dedicated to getting it done. It still needs to be varnished, so it needs a month or two more to dry completely before spraying.
Regards, Craig

That's nice man.
I like the color scheme you picked and the perspective/angles

Coolness. Reminds me of '70's Napa Valley (think 'Bottle Shock'). Reminds me of where I'd like to park my carcass if I win the lotto

Very impressive. I used to draw with charcoal long time ago but never brought it to such a level. Did you copy a picture or just follow your imagination?

Thanks! This time I used another picture to do a rough sketch on the canvas and get the general perspective, but once the painting started, I didn't use it any further.

Craig, That is just beautiful. Man I have always envied those of the artistic temperment. I can't draw a stick man without it looking contrived. You have talent and you should paint every darned day to sharpen your skills. Every completed painted will be a legacy when you're gone. Great work buddy.

That's really nice. I'm certainly no authority, but your brush work reminds me of Vincent V.G.

Thanks! Here is one I finished for a friend over the weekend. It is rendered from an artist's charcoal/pastel drawing that she wanted me to follow as a guide as far as color and content. I forgot how messy charcoal and pastel are! And the fixative stinks!

Naked women and tube amps. It doesn't get any better than that.
