Hi all, I'm Timbo I live in Brisbane Australia and a builder by trade (so if anyone has some building questions I'll try to help)I love my Les Paul and I needed something to make it loud!!! So as a builder I could use my trade to build my own. I was put onto a guy called John kelley Brown (I don't know if you have heard of him)he has his own version of the 50W Plexi.I also found your Hot Switch Mod .I would like to add that I have built a couple of amps (valve and SS) over the past 15years with some success.His Schematic was great with a few tweeks of his own. It all came together well but I have a problem,it don't work to well. I know lots about building houses but my electronic knowledge is limited ( I can follow schematics and do everything to put it together but if it dosn't work I don't know where to look for the problem).I hope you guy's can help.   Thanks Timbo

Welcome aboard!  Go ahead and post your issues on the "Tube Amp Building Tweaks and Repairs" section.  We will give you a hand in figuring out what the issues are.  You will want to post the schematic and use the voltage chart.  That will give us a good baseline.  Lots of nice folks here to help you out!
