Watching as much of it as I can! At this point the Twins seem to have more momentum than the Tigers. In any case, it's nice to have a little excitement around the Dome this week. What a great group of young talent there! A great coaching staff too!
I watched the "Farewell to the Metrodome" show today on FSN North. It was great to see all the stars of the past there for the celebration.... I'll kind of miss that place in a weird way. I've been to probably 100 games there...and the weather was always good..which was nice because I've lived varying distances from downtown Minneapolis. I'd know when I had to drive 2-3 hours to get to the dome that the game wouldn't be rained out.
The new park is a beauty but I like going to April games which may be unpleasant outdoors in Minnesota.
Got the Monday Night Football game....then Tuesday the showdown for the playoffs.

I might have watched that, if the game hadn't already lasted 3 days (well, it seemed like it).

Yeah, I didn't tune in until the 4th inning, so it was only like 2 days for me

Well they're going to New York. At least one more Dome game

Yeah, I'm listening to the first New York game right now, but that game yesterday may have been the best baseball game I've ever seen/heard (I was listening on the radio while I worked at the shop).

I am remembering the madness on Hennepin in 1991.
Great series.

In 1987 I went to game 1 with my grandfather (who had been a Twins fan since the day they moved to Minnesota). We had amazing seats right behind the Twins bullpen, and I got to see Kirby's grand slam. Great game.
In 1991, I went to game 2. The seats were no where near as good, but the game was still great.
Don't make me talk about last nights game.

The only team where I live that has any real coverage (outside of scores for one minor league team) is StL Cardinals... And my heart isn't in THEM... it goes back to the State I was born and raised in. (MI)... So even when the Lions are as horrible as they can be, I feel for them, and Side with the Tigers... but alas.... even high school football and the Hogs (University of Arkansas) take precedence.
