Make it one of a kind

Cool... Ill give it a go. Time flies when your having fun. Im Jerry Dyer from Westminster CA. I work as a criminal defense paralegal by day and build my own amps at night www.surrealamplification.com
Its been about 8 years now and I would like to point out that it was Doug who helped me first. I was in some orange county bands, Surreal, 21st Century, and Mystery. Now I play at my church Calvary Chapel Paicific Coast here in Wesminster CA. Married and one 14 year old daughter. My goal in life? to move to Tennesee or Florida or one of the Carolinas. I don't like the people here anymore. They certainly are NOT southern californians. Mostly ungrateful transplants from other regions of the world.

Hear, hear, it ain't much better up the freeway in northern Cal either. Got my share of ungrateful transplants up here. Been looking at Warshinton or Oregon myself... Blew an opportunity to move to Vegas back when you could get a (decent) house for 80-120K depending on the area. Passed up another opportunity to build speakers up in Oregon (that one hurt to say no) but SWMBO wasn't wanting to move, and the stepdaughter was still finishing up High School, so she had half a point, now I cant wait fer Stepbrat (not really) to finish college. Then I'm outta here.
Been diddelin around on the guitar and wanted some motivation to get serious. found some motivation in the form of a local High School musical department's used equipment sale. Picked up an abused Bassman 10 combo for fifty bucks, started lookin for info and found this place a while back. One of the few places that does not demand that one use certain speaker paper and majik components to get "the tone"... People with actual knowlege and the willingness to share make it worthwhile. Your amps look very nice. I should hope to make something as nice one day.

*SWMBO & I went to High School up in Marysville in the late '70's went separate ways and reconnected... one thing we agree on is that whatever Ca is now, it isn't the state we grew up in- the changes were not for the better.
