Ok, I give up, the links that I found in the forum don't work anymore since it has moved. Anyone have a How to build a Light bulb current limiter for Nubies?

I built one in a plastic twin receptacle electrical box with two receptacles and used a light bulb adapter to plug into the receptacle light bulb connects the proper wires..

Make sure not to use Romex for the wire to the AC as it will give you trouble with the light standing up on it's own. Use a flexible power cord.

I used one of those metal outdoor boxes, with a light bulb socket sold for an outdoor flood light, so it screws into the half inch pipe thread holes on the box, keeps wires neat, and the bulb is adjustable in how it stands.
