Bassmanster, here's my first offering.

The concept is all the radio signals that leave earth are picked up by a hip hop drummer in space, but only for 2 minutes and 9 seconds.  :-/

I had to go lay down after hatching that brainstorm.  :P

Hmm, let's see, the next one is about a one legged talking rat that visits the dentist.

Yeah, that's what I'm talkin about!!!!!!!

I like that one alot, keep em coming,

Sounds like a bad drive in movie sound track.
Detective Thingy Shaft ridin along in his convertable doing acid and waving his gun.

I got to have some bad dreams tonight so I can write a stank tune.
Actually the tune I posted yesteray deserves more time, I like the concept.
Sounds like robots playing poker and smokin cigars.
I'll work on it tommorow.

VERY creative and imaginative. Pink Floyd and Hendrix would be proud of you guys!
 ;)

I like stuff that is off the beaten path enough to hold my interest and these did.

Doug, I also like your lead guitar work on the Robin Trower cut as well as the Bad Co. & Van Halen stuff, but particularly the lead on the Trower tune. Your riffs got soul to 'em.

One legged rat talking to a dentist........
robots playing poker and smoking cigars .........

Man, does that ever capture a picture!!!

Now that I can listen to it w/o laughing, that is very mission control.  Where did you get that little super high pitched beep that always seems to be a part of their comm?

Hmmmm, I might have to "break out" some old china.   8-)

Hey man, I'm listening to your tune this morning too, it's very good!!
It gets the creative juices flowing eh?

All those sounds were done in Guitar Rig.
It was some kind of phaser with delay I think, can't remember.
I think I have 8 tracks of stuff including a fuzz/wah bass part on my new bass.

Thanks Ken, we don't get much praise from you.  :-[

That's means alot to us actually.

It's actually really fun to do and very creative,  gets your brain in gear more or less.

The wrong gear, but in gear.
More to come :D

I remixed the tune bassmaster to enhance that cool little sputnick sound you were asking about.
I like that sound too.

The ending was not right so I fixed that too.

Same file name/link as above, just down load it agin for the new version.

Yep, sounds cool.

I find you have to come back to these things later.  Or go mad.

Sorry.  I don't mean to be stingy with praise.  I listen to a lot of clips, and I don't tend to comment everytime.  I encourage people to post as many clips as they can.  I should get set up to post some myself.

My main complaint about web clips is when someone is trying to showcase an amp or guitar or pickup or speaker and they post a clip that has a dozen effects in the signal path.  Or if someone is posting a comparison clip of two speakers and they play speaker A with a Les Paul and speaker B with a Telecaster.

I hear ya.  :D

I've found out personally that the clips sound nothing like the amp you are standing in front of anyways.
The sound is always dissapointing on some level after you play back the recording.

The live amp breaths and is so much fuller sounding than the recording and the bass kicks your ass live.

Now I record more to show what's possible with recording techniques.  I don't sell amps, I could care less about making showcase dry amp clips.

Everything sounds better with reverb on it and a little delay.  ;)

Just my .02  :)
