Like I said in an earlier post, I am a bigger pre-Perry fan. However, there were some great tunes.
I bought this album in 1984 called HSAS (Hagar, Schon, Aaronson, Shrieve). I've always been a Sammy fan since I saw him with Montrose and he was always HUGE in St. Louis. I know some folks can't bear to listen to him. Obviously we all know the Schon-Shrieve connection. Aaronson played in a great 70's band called Dust with their best known tune called "From a Dry Camel". If you ever find this album in a classic store, BUY IT!
This tune by HSAS is without a doubt THE BEST version of Whiter Shade of Pale I have EVER heard. Schon just kills this tune, trademark huge guitar sound, melodic, with a few shreds to let you know he can do it!
Enjoy!
