I love tube amps

Vox 847 Wah issues

I have a Vox wah pedal that sounds really great, but it develops a crackling noise after it's been on for a while.

This noise is unaffected by the wah pedal's travel. No matter where the pedal is, the noise is there.

The noise goes away when the pedal is bypassed.

It's not the cords or guitar or amp, I do not have this problem when the pedal is not being used.

Anybody have an idea of where I should start looking?

This is the newer model with the modular plug that connects everything to the board.

The connector and it's wires look good.

;D ;D ;DOf all the stupid things it could have been.....loose input jack. I tightened it up and now it's rockin again.
