A couple pedals finally boxed up using the waterslide decal type of finishing. Geezer, hope you don't mind using something similar?

They're both meant to enhance the tube amp tone qualities and push it a bit and not color it too much. Queen B is inspired by the BJF Honeybee & Mad Professor's Sweet Honey Overdrives. Green Dragon is a slightly higher gain overdrive & similar to a Fulltone Obessisive Compulsive Drive. IMHO, both kick booty over the originals.

Nice lookin stuff there Keo, thumbsup
You've got me sold on the waterslide decal thing.....time to read up
I'm starting a tube preamp pedal, and I've got my brother (old school hot-rodder) spraying some metallic flake for me .....I'm stilll coming up with the face graphics.....I'm afraid that it's gonna look amateur compared to that stuff you and Geezer are pulling off, but now that I've seen this stuff, I cant let that happen.......THANKS!......keep up the good work

Mahalo for the comments. A couple things on the decals is make sure to plan for the underneath box color which will come through the graphic even on colors, the lighter ones it does so more. On Queen B, the bee graphic has a nice defined yellow & black look w/ light skin color and wing color too when printed on the paper but the orange color of the box changed her look on these. You have to look close in the pic to what I'm talking about. I didn't think the box color would show through the printed colors when using the "clear" stock. My intent was to have the pedals look like they were silk screened. I just got some "white" decal paper to try. That should show the colors and/or any white in graphics better but I don't know if there's going to be some of the boxes' own color that will show through or not there too, or even just slightly? If absolutely total graphic w/ no background color altering the graphic is wanted then geezer's method may be the best way to go? I'll know soon and show the differences.

Also, don't believe the clear coat information on the can regarding drying time. It takes at least a day to be able to handle gently but finger prints will still show if not careful and it's easily damaged when assembling. You need a week for the coating to completely dry and harden to the point of fully protecting and taking normal use. I'm also trying a different brand to see if there's any differences there too?
