You just know there is going to be a huge uproar.  laugh

We've got 3 cats and I love 'em all, but I still think this is hilarious.

I want one.

Can you imagine terrorizing local dogs with something like that?

PETA is tracking you!

It is funny in a ghoulish way, but I do not think playing with dead cats should be encouraged.  Did you know that my local SPCA won't allow adoption of black cats during October due to higher chances of abuse leading up to Halloween?  That is just sick!  I still have one of the two black cats I adopted 15 years ago.

Respectfully,

Chip

And I'm betting very necessary.

2 of ours were dropped off in the lane about 10 years ago. The 3rd one is a new arrival, showed up out of nowhere, long hair unbelievably matted. After 6 weeks of careful trimming a little along, the toupee is gone.  laugh

I'm a dog guy first, but just don't have the time to give to one these days. If I do get time again, I think I'm gonna adopt a greyhound. Friend of mine is in a rescue group, and they are just great dogs.

Ya know, that's just wrong.     laugh

If they wanted it to be funny by using a cat they could have used a _cloth_ stuffed animal for kids.

Several years ago, (read over twenty), there was book out there on 101 things to do with a dead cat, Now we can another.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/101_Uses_for_a_Dead_Cat
v
P.S. how did they know the cat was dead, Cats are issued with 9 lives.   I bet the helicopter was powered by Rayovac batteries.   sad2

The cat died of whatever cats die of; was not killed for this project. This is supposed to be a tribute to the cat (who surely can't care).

It is also an Art Piece.

He wuz gonna ask $12,000 for it.

Since it hit the interwebs, he has an offer of $100,000.

I've ordered motors and I'm down to the SPCA as soon as it opens in the morning.  icon_biggrin

Maybe you'll go one better and find an old pooch. Then you can mount a vid-cam on it to capture peeps horrified expressions, which you can exhibit in the gallery beside the working art piece.

Pooch as a helicopter, come on,  Did the Russians send a dog into space, and didn't RCA Victor take advantage of Nipper.

Put a helmet and goggles, find a moose and you have a parody of ol' Rocky and Bullwinkle.

Imagine it's your neighbors stray cat and you fly it past his window randomly.

I want one.

Can you imagine terrorizing local dogs with something like that?
