kagliostro, this looks very interesting to me, but I can't seem to open the 1'st attachment. 

I'm thinking it's the schmatic, could you please check it, and if you can't open it, could you post a different type so I/we can access it?

The first link is in one of the latest pages of the thread (second link)

Despite his name "My version" it is My version of someone else, not My version

the file is a .doc file

I don't know if you can download it and can't open it or if you have problems about to download it (it is near a 4M file)

As to try to solve the problem I've converted it in a .pdf file (near 2.2M) and here is the link to download it (this link is at MediaFire where I host files) hope you have no problems to download and open the file now

just build a champ with octal and 9pin tubes and add some telemetry access points.
