New Updated Media Gallery on Forum

I uninstalled the previous Gallery mod and installed a much nicer one

Use the gallery to show off your amp work.
You can now create your own picture albums or add images to the existing albums

Look at the top of the forum for the Media tab.


Please resize your images first if they are way too large.
I set the max picture width to 1600 and height to 1600 pixels
1600 pixels wide is about the max most people can view without problems.

To create your own picture Album
Click on Media tab - My Albums - New Album - like in the picture below.

Just saw this today and it looks to be very nice. Thanks.

However I have a few questions:
I have existing pictures submitted but can't seem to understand how to add more amps if wanted unless I make an album?
Should existing pics/amps be included in an album? If so how? Sorry, I'm a bit confused and challenged I guess w/ this new folder.
If an album is made, do all amps from a member go to the same one or should a seperate album be made for each amp submitted?

Sorry guys, I forgot to set the permissions for the users

You should be able to add items to your own albums and the Guts shots and Misc images albums
When you go into your album, you should now see Add an item to this album like in the sceen shot below

I created a test album and added an item

Let me know if it works ok

Looks good to me.

I had not even messed with the Media gallery until just now.
A couple things I noticed that are cool.

Just saw that you can play slide shows of albums.
When you are looking at a picture, hit the play button and a slide show will start.

The pictures display in a smaller format, but if you hit Zoom, they will display in a much larger format.

I also enabled audio file uploads.
Check out my album to hear an old clip of one of my 50 watt Hoffman heads as seen in my album.

Ok, I figured out how to add comments to peoples images, sound clips, etc
You can also rate these items.

You have to click on the link right above the item to access these extra features.
Or, once you are viewing an image, click on details.

A new section opens up down below the image.

You can leave comments and rate the item if you want to do that.
To leave comments, you have to click on the small plus sign to expand the comments section
