We use Xicon 1/2 watt Carbon Comp Resistors, Metal Oxide 3 watt  Resistors, Ceramic Wire Wound 5 & 10 watt Resistors, Sprauge/Atom Axial caps, Sprague Orange Drops, Mallory 150 Film Capacitors (the yellow ones), Xicon Metallized Polyester Film Caps, Silver Mica Caps, Heyboerer Transformers, Alpha Pots, Micilex (military grade) tube sockets, JJ Tubes.  I'm sure you can find amps that are less expensive but you won't find an amp made any better. Ron Hatcher is one of the most knowledgeable and most patient people I have
yet encountered in this hobby/business.  If you look at the pictures of his
work on his website he is an artist. I have also found him to be
exceptionally honest.  I was(am) a newbie building a complicated project.
Mr. Hatcher patiently guided me through the construction process and fielded
my repeated calls and e-mails for many days.  He did all this and he wasn't
even the board manufacturer that sold me the original product!  For my
money, I will always make an effort to do business with Ron whenever I need
anything.
